Ian parked his Porsche Spyder in front of the location mentioned in the invitation he received. Without even thinking about it, I went in.

The party was organized by Kubo Pictures, a very famous studio that attracted a large number of fans with everything they posted. They started from scratch and have made great strides in the industry in just five years. CEO Jackson Corella throws these parties every year with the goal of bringing people in the industry closer together.

The entire hotel lobby is beautifully renovated. The music rings in my ears, and it is the pop music that people in this world love. As soon as he entered, he was greeted by a staff member in a black and white uniform.

"Ian Renner," Ian said.

"Come in, I hope you have a nice night," he said, looking at the guest list in his hand.

Ian nodded and walked inside. Everyone wore suits that looked expensive, and the ladies wore equally good-looking clothes, flaunting their wealth. As soon as you enter, you will see a magnificent glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and next to the bar on the left is a crystal fountain, where dozens of celebrities are chatting amiably and happily.

He even recognized some people from a long distance. There are a lot of big names in the industry, including famous movie stars, directors, and producers.

He could see that many people at the banquet recognized him and nodded to him. He responded with a polite gesture and walked over to the bar, wanting to have a drink to calm his nerves.

"Hello, is there anything I can help you with?" The bartender, a tall white man in a white poster suit, asked him after he served the wine to the ladies who were seated two seats lower than his.

"Uh, I want a sparkling apple cocktail with rocks. Add a little lemon to taste if you can. He commanded.

"Coming soon!" The bartender got to work, preparing his drink.

After drinking, he decided to go to a social event and get to know some of the people who were going to the event.

It was already a few hours late at night, and Ian decided that he should introduce himself to Coolwave's CEO, Jackson Lana, as it looked like he was going to get some of his own drink.

Ian left his current position with a redhead who was trying to seduce him, along with some of her entourage.

They were the actors who were invited to the gala.

Ian walked over to the bar, carefully sat down next to Jackson, and asked the bartender for six tequila and a bourbon.

"Good evening, Mr. Reina, and hope you have fun." Jackson Corella started the conversation a few seconds after recognizing Ian.

"Mr. Corella, the evening was also enjoyable, the party was really great and I was honored to be invited," Ian replied kindly.

"Great, I hope you've tried our crème brûlée and it's dying for. You can call me Jackson. "

Jackson tries to make small talk, and these parties he hosts aren't just about getting people together, he's also entertaining them trying to make business connections.

After a while, he started talking about Home Alone.

"I've seen your movie Home Alone, and it's a great movie, Ian. It must be hard to come up with something of that calibre. Jackson praised.

"Home Alone is a project I've been working on for a while. It's not easy to make it. Thankfully, the film did well.

Ian said, recognizing Jackson's intentions.

"It's not just good, it's been the No. 1 box office in North America for a while, do you want to release it overseas?"

"Yes, but Rayner Films doesn't have any branches outside of the United States, and we've never really had a good relationship to distribute films internationally."

Ian replied with an embarrassed smile.

"You must have received some invitations to collaborate, right?"

"Yes, there are some, but we're still working on them. I don't want to rush things. The film hasn't even reached its potential in the United States.

Jackson thought Ian was joking when he said that. Home Alone has grossed over $200 million at the box office, but it still hasn't lived up to its potential.

It's a really dark horse.

Jackson took a sip of his wine.

"Well, I'll help you distribute it in the international market, and if you want, we can buy out the international screening rights for Home Alone, and we can negotiate the price later, or if you have other ideas, I'll hear from you, Ian." Jackson said, but Ian shook his head.

Selling international rights is not something he will do. That means giving other people a lot of power over Home Alone.

"I'm sorry, Jackson, but I want to keep the international screening rights for Home Alone right now. I was thinking that I could develop this film into a more refined film in the future, but I was sure that I would be interested in exploring further avenues of collaboration for my company to enter the international market. I also have several projects under consideration that I can seek to collaborate on more aspects of the film business."

Ian retorted. Jackson stared at Ian, listening to his complicated answer for half a minute, and then laughed.

"Alright, Ian, come and sit in my office when you have time. Come, grab my business card and email my secretary Jolene, she'll schedule an appointment this Tuesday and I'll ask her to stay for a while. You can prepare a complete plan for your future prospects, and we can reach an agreement that is beneficial to both of us. Have a great evening with Ian. Jackson drank the last bottle of bourbon and returned to the party.

Ian stared at the seat where Jackson Corella had sit, and he knew he had reached a crossroads that would determine his future in the film industry. The opportunity came, and now it was his turn to do what he wanted.

He came to this meeting to form such a partnership, and he succeeded.

Now, it's time to enjoy the party.

Ian finished his last sip of whiskey, and he returned to the pretty redhead who was waiting for him by the fountain.

There she was, standing next to the fountain. The black tight skirt fits perfectly against her body, and she takes a sip of the drink she brings with her. A pair of expensive-looking necklaces and earrings that perfectly matched her sparkled in the dark. Seeing Ian walking towards her, she straightened her dress and smiled.

"You brought your drink, and I wish I had it too. It's okay to have a drink now," Ian said as soon as he approached her.

"We can share," she said, handing over the cup.

"No, it doesn't matter. You can enjoy yours," Ian said, approaching her.

"Oh, okay. So, are you talking to Jackson? She asked as she sipped her drink.

"yes, I feel like why don't you like parties here?" He knew her intentions, but he still pretended to be curious and asked.

She placed the cup on the edge of the fountain and ran her fingers over the hem of his collar. "I think I'm going to enjoy my time with you."

Ian knew exactly what she was going to do. Alex Cara is a D-list actress who has played a number of supporting roles. She starred in the last film Kubo Pictures released in the film, which is why she was invited. When Ian saw her outside, he knew it.

At first, he didn't want to ruin his image even in front of the actress, but after a few seconds he agreed with Alex, questioning her why she ruined the fun.

"Are you guys talking about your new movie?" She asked, curiosity evident on her face.

"Nope. We're just talking about a deal. Even if it's... Don't try to expect to get a character that way. I don't offer characters for the sake of temptation. Ian said. She looked back at him with a confused expression.

"I'm not—

" "We can have some fun if you want," Ian said, stroking her lower lip. She was confused. "But again, don't expect a role because of all this."

"I didn't think of anything, I-" She was retracted word by word by his words. Under normal circumstances, this industry gives so many opportunities for actresses who successfully seduce and act. But she understands that he is different.

"Guess what the result is?" Seeing her confused look, he asked jokingly. He knew she didn't expect him to answer like that, so he had to explain it to her.

"What?" She asked, looking him in the eye.

"If you're interested, you can audition for a role in my next movie,"
