"Read the lines, Miss Scarlett," said Michael.

Scarlett, who stands in front of Ian, is a C-grade actress, but she doesn't have much background and will go the extra mile to get the job done.

"You did practice that part, right?" Michael asked, seeing that Scarlett didn't speak.

"Yes, yes, sir. I'll get started," she quickly settled down and began to play the role of Ella in "Lucifer."

The entire audition process and script is different for each actor. The main cast Lucifer and Chloe are possible actors and actresses, and the casting director will have them read their dialogues and performances. But for other actors who showed potential for supporting roles, the casting director asked them to rehearse some of Ella's lines. It's a simple process; either you get the role or you don't.

"The only thing I'm sure of is that these are handmade, definitely not toys," she said into her role.

"What made you say that?" Gemma asked in a monotone voice.

"You can see the intricate scratches of the woodwork. These two figurines took a lot of time and skill to make," Scarlett continued.

"Didn't think of you as a carpenter, Ms. Lopez," Gemma responded.

"You're-

" "That's enough, thank you, Ms. Scarlett, we'll inform your agency," Michael paused before she could finish the conversation. Knowing what the outcome would be, her eyes moistened. However, deep down in her, she had faith in herself. Anything can happen. She was always struggling to get in, but it was never impossible. Before stepping down, she comforted herself.

"Thank you," she thanked them before going out, while praying for every kind of God she had ever heard.

"Will she get a role?" said

Ian, who was very taken aback at the whole situation. Even when Scarlett was reciting lines and performing so many expressions and body movements, he could only stare at her. Is she real? How many people from the real world will I meet? She should be in a higher grade, will she have a chance? Thoughts keep invading his brain.

As soon as Scarlett stepped off the stage, Ian reached for his phone and texted his assistant.

[Ian: Let Scarlett Johansson wait for me outside.]

[Murphy: Okay]

The next second, his assistant Murphy Anderson read his text. Ian then thought of asking Michael about the "things" he wanted to ask.

"Don't you think she has potential?" Scarlett?he asked.

"Who, that one just went? I don't think so, what do you think?" asked Scarlett, the producer sitting on the left.

"Me neither, I mean, if you insist, we can give her a little role too, Ian. However, I can't give her anything significant in the series. She lacks naturalism, probably because she's still a newbie and may soon get the hang of it. But for now, she's not "it". By the way, do you know her? Why are you so worried?, producer Derek Winston asked, looking Ian in the eye.

"I don't know her, I really don't. But she looked familiar, not someone I knew, and it was all good," Ian said, shrugging.

[Ian: Did you tell her?, outside my car, if possible, come over right away!

] [Murphy: Mr. OMW]

looks like Murphy has been checking Ian's chats. But Ian doesn't care, he just wants to get the job done. He stood up, left the row of interviewers, and walked outside to meet the well-known stranger, Scarlett Johansson.

[Scarlett Johansson's scene]

was startled after looking at the faces that seemed to be against her judgment. She tried to put in the best of her best, but from the look in the eyes of the casting director, she understood something. However, if anything, every step she takes out gives her hope. Remember Scarlett, auditions are experiences that you collect, collect, and never give up. She muttered these lines to herself over and over again.

In fact, she came up with it after she cried tears when she failed her audition the other day. Much to her sadness, the directors gave her the result, which was very bad for Scarlett. She ended up crying in the street, on the benches that everyone was passing by, but didn't care why she was crying. Still, she felt as if she was much better than herself.

"Multiple sclerosis. Scarlett Johansson?" she heard a young man's voice.

As soon as I turned around, I saw Ian's assistant. When they are nervous and with other actors/actresses, he is the one who wishes them good luck before the audition. He introduces himself as Murphy, and Scarlett pretends to smile, but out of curiosity about what is coming, her face does not appear.

"You're Murphy, right? the one who wished us all the best before the audition. Thank you, although right now, I'm on my way home. Scarlett said cheerfully as always, but she was very unhappy inside.

"Can you wait here for a few minutes, ma'am? Murphy said with a smile.

Ian Renner, director, you must be kidding, no way!

"Do you know why?" Scarlett asked in a low voice, not wanting to sound crazy.

"That's... I don't know, but you'll know when he's coming. He should be there at all times, and if you don't have anything more urgent, can you stay?" Murphy did his best to be polite, something he had learned over the years.

"Okay, of course,"

the whole thing of meeting with Ian gave Scarlett a glimmer of hope. One part of her is terrified of what is coming, while the other part is hopeful. She was scared because of the rumors and evidence that Ian was a playboy.

She fiddled with the bottom of her t-shirt, wondering what she would say if Ian did come. After a few seconds, she also felt that it might be a joke or a prank by someone to make it amused. However, she just decided to believe it.

"Ma'am, Mr. Reina told you to wait next to his car as long as possible, Porsche Spyder, do you recognize it, or do I need to tell you which one it is?" Murphy came back to his senses and greeted her again.

"Oh, are you sure it's not a joke?" The false queen inside her shouted.

"Do you know what's going on?" Scarlett is in the mood to question anything and everyone, as she has an adrenaline rush in the hall and needs to know what the hell is going on. However, she appeared calm and composed on the surface.

"Not really, but do you need me here until he comes? so you don't feel suspicious? I can see it through your eyes," Murphy said with a laugh.

Listening to him, Scarlett understood that he was not joking. He didn't lie either. In fact, the glimmer of hope she had for the audition suddenly seemed like a door to her dreams, or so she felt. Looking into Murphy's eyes, she knew that he was the kind of person who would take almost anything seriously as long as he was working.

"Well-no, it doesn't matter. I'll take care of it, I think. If anything happens, just know I've got pepper spray on me," Scarlett said, causing Murphy to giggle again.

"Of course, ma'am. He

walked into the auditorium because the responsibilities of the day were heavy on him. After all, it is not an easy task to be an assistant to a young director. He brought it to himself, not complaining, but enjoying every second. The challenge was a new experience for him, and he was happy with the salary he was getting.

Leaving where she was, Scarlett stood a few steps away from Ian's car, knowing that anything could be a trap. On the other hand, when she doesn't even park her car in the parking lot, one might think it's creepy to stand in the middle of the parking lot. Especially when she was waiting in front of Ian Renner's car. Almost all actors and actresses in the industry are worried about the possibility of the existence of paparazzi.

The same is true for Scarlett. She didn't think much of it, just stood there and waited.

A minute passed, two minutes, three minutes,...... Ten minutes.

She saw a man in a suit walking towards her and caught her attention on the spot. A neatly ironed black suit with polished leather shoes. Her hair was neatly combed, and she couldn't even make out a single hair, and Ian was walking towards her.

This. Ian. Leonard.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Scarlett Johansson," Ian said, holding out his hand for her to touch.

"Ian Renner, there was a moment when I thought I was being pranked. I just met you inside, what are the chances of meeting you again? privately, yes?" Scarlett said what she thought. Little did she know it sounded weird. But as soon as the words came out, she couldn't take them back. "I—I didn't mean that. I mean, you're a great director, it doesn't make sense at all, but what can I help you, sir?" This time she was much more polite.

"Please call me Ian. Honestly, I love your performance. The way you behave, and even how you look. The producers didn't like it, though. However, you cut it from the same clothes as the top actresses. Trust me, I'm not flattering you, but I want you to make a difference. I think you have a lot of potential. Have you heard of Reina Studios?" Ian asked.

Hearing his words, Scarlett felt as if Ian wanted to sleep with her in a role. That made sense to some extent before Ian missed the last question. Because if he were going to invite her to the studio, there would be more people, not just Ian and Scarlett. Also, who doesn't know the now famous Studio Reina? every actor does it. In fact, even if someone weren't invited, they would find out after the upside down if Ian had invited them personally.

"Well, of course,"

"I think you should come to the studio sometime tomorrow morning," Ian smiled politely.

"Thank you so much! I will!" Scarlett smiled brightly as soon as she finished speaking. Ian wished her good luck and walked away after saying goodbye to her. Watching Ian disappear from her vision, she flails her fists in delight. It was a great opportunity for her! On the way home, she kept thinking about it and kept smiling from ear to ear.
